    No, to sign up and raise tasks it’s free.

  • How do I register?
    Follow the steps on the homepage to post a job and your account will get registered.

  • How do I create a job/task?
    If it is the first time you have come to our website follow the steps on the homepage to post a job and your account will become registered. If you are a returning user you can also do this and then login or login first and post a job/raise a task.

  • Who are our professionals?
    Our professionals are local trade people or qualified professionals in their field. Some but not all our professionals will be verified.

  • How do you use my data? 
    We do not sell or refer your data to any 3rd parties or to the professionals registered on our website.

  • How do I change the details on my profile? 
    To edit your details, please login and go you’re your account. Here you can edit your details.

  • How do I contact the professional who has provided a quote?
    Once you have accepted a quote, you will receive contact details of the professional(s) whose quote(s) you have accepted and you can contact them to take things forward.

  • Are the quotes legally binding?
    No, once you have accepted a quote on our website you are not legally bound to go ahead with this.

  • How do I pay the professional for the job completed?
    Once you have accepted a quote and contacted the professional you can discuss this and agree terms with your chosen professional.

  • I have signed up/registered but can’t log in?
    Most likely you need to reset your password. If this is not working, please contact us and we will help you access your account.

  • I have forgotten my password, how do I reset it?
    Please click on the ‘forgot password’ link on the login page and you can reset your password.

  • Do you have an app?
    No at the moment but we are working on it.

  • Can I edit/update my job after its been posted?
    Unfortunately this is not possible. You can cancel a job and raise a new one.

  • Can I cancel a job once its been updated?
    Yes you can. You can cancel a job at any point through the process.

  • Do professionals see my contact details, username and password?
    No all professionals can see your contact details. A professional can only see


  • How do I register?
    On the task zebra homepage you can click the register button and follow the instructions.

  • How do I get paid for a job?
    Once you have quoted for a job and your quote has been accepted. You can then contact the user to discuss further details about the job and agree payment terms.

  • What happens if I quote for a task but then decide I do not want to do it?
    If you quote for a task and it is accepted but you then do not want to go ahead then you can let the user know.

  • Is Task Zebra in my city/country?
    We currently operate in Kenya. But are looking to expand further into East Africa soon.

  • You are currently not in my area. What can I do?
    Please let us know what city you are in. We are looking to expand.

  • Do I need any specific qualifications to become a professional?
    No you do not but do you need to have experience in your field. Also if you have specified that you have qualification is your profession then you will need these to be verified by us in order to become a verified professional.

  • Can I be a virtual only professional?
    Yes you can if you service can be delivered virtually such as tuition.

  • Am I an Task Zebra employee?
    No you are not. Task Zebra is a platform that helps to connect people with professionals.

  • Do I need to pay to use the website?
    No you do not. But if you want the ability to quote for tasks then you need to pay a subscription of 3, 6 or 12 months.

  • Are the quotes legally binding?
    No they are not. Task Zebra is a platform for forming connections. You can quote for a job but you are not legally obliged to do the job for this price but then it is likely your quote won’t progress.

  • Do you take any commission from me for a job I quote for?
    No we do not.

  • How does a user pay me for work I complete?
    Once your quote has been accepted, you can contact the user and

  • Do you share my contact details and date with any 3rd parties?
    No we do not. We only share your details with a user if your quote is accepted by them.
